Nicholas Carone
President
Hi, my name is Nick and I am a junior from Los Angeles majoring political science and film. This is my third semester in this club, in which time I have staffed both UCBMUN and BearMUN and traveled across the country for competition. After college I plan to go to law school and pursue entertainment law. Beyond MUN, I am an die-hard lakers fan who also enjoys trying new foods, music, and creative writing. I also participate in Cal's Greek Life and write for Berkeley Political Review.

Ava Volman
Internal Vice President
Hi! My name is Ava and I'm UCBMUN's Internal Vice President. I'm a second year studying English as well as Conservation and Resource Studies. I've been doing Model UN for the past 5 years and have loved every minute of it! I've traveled to collegiate conferences such as USC's TrojanMUN, UCLA's LAMUN, and Harvard's HNMUN. I've also staffed both of our very own conferences, BearMUN and UCBMUN, as an ACD. This year I'm excited to Chair the Night at the Museum committee at BearMUN and be the Crisis Director for the Emergence of Atlantis committee at UCBMUN! Outside of Model UN, I love to write for the Daily Californian, hike the Berkeley hills, and spend time with my UCBMUN lineage.

Paloma Corona
GA Head Delegate
Hi! My name is Paloma Corona (she/her) and I am beyond excited to be the General Assembly Head Delegate for the UCBMUN club! I am finishing my final year at UC Berkeley, majoring in Cognitive Science and completing a Pre-Med track. Originally from Mexico, I was born in Boston and have lived in multiple countries throughout my life, including the US, Croatia, Poland, Peru, South Africa, and Mexico. Over the years, I have participated as both a delegate and a chair, particularly in General Assembly committees, where I’ve honed my diplomatic and strategic-thinking skills. I love the fast-paced negotiations and teamwork required in these large-scale committees, and we hope to implement something similar in this committee, challenging you with something that will push you to think outside the box. Joining UCBMUN has been a highlight of my college experience, as I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the most incredible people from the club and circuit! Outside of MUN, I work at the UCSF Oakland Hospital, write for a medical journal on campus, and train our club members for upcoming conferences. In my free time, I enjoy binge-watching TV shows -especially comedy shows-, running/hiking, and getting coffee with friends.

Rory Miller
Crisis Head Delegate
Hi! My name’s Rory and I am the current Crisis Head Delegate. I am a second year at Cal and I joined UCBMUN in the fall of my first year. It has quickly become one of my favorite things about Berkeley! Conference is one of my favorite parts of MUN and some of my past staffing has included Barbeheimer for our high school conference BEARMUN and the Zombies v Humans JCC at our collegiate conference UCBMUN. Some of my favorite travel conferences have also included LAMUN, HNMUN (Harvard), and UPMUNC (UPenn). Outside of UCBMUN, I am a Political Science and French major and I hope to one day work for the State Department and help shape U.S. diplomacy! I even spent this past summer interning for an NGO in Paris which was a great way to combine both of my majors. Around Berkeley you can usually find me getting a matcha at Binge, chilling on the glade or doing work in the Music Library! Hope to see you all soon at recruitment!

Anita White
Generalized Head Delegate
Hello! My name is Anita White and I’m currently serving as UCBMUN’s Generalized Head Delegate. I’m a second year Political Science student at Cal and I grew up in Sacramento CA. I have been competing in Model UN since freshmen year of high school so joining UCBMUN was a no-brainer! I’ve loved the opportunity to travel across North America to compete in all kinds of committees, including in LA and Boston. Behind the scenes I’ve also enjoyed staffing the Disney BoD at BearMUN 2024, multiple committees at UCBMUN XXIX, and look forward to serving as a Crisis Director at UCBMUN XXX. In addition to MUN, I also coached middle school speech and debate, ran cross country and track, and played rugby. I’m a huge fan of football (soccer), and spend my time rooting for Tottenham Hotspur (COYS!) in the Premier League and Barcelona in La Liga. I also love taking day trips around the Bay Area, reading, hiking, and skiing. I love any opportunity to chat about anything history-related and I hope to pursue a career in public policy or diplomacy. Feel free to reach out!

Will Baker
Finance Vice President
Hi, I’m Will Baker! I’m a sophomore at UC Berkeley double majoring in English and History, and UCBMUN’s Finance Vice President (VPF). Outside of MUN, my interests include early modern and modern history, creative writing, and reading. I enjoy all sorts of genres, from historical fiction to fantasy to poetry. I’ve even begun to broach the world of philosophy - though I still have much to learn. Speaking of learning, nearly all of my future plans include continuing my education, whether that be at law school or attempting to earn a PhD. In the more immediate future, I’m excited to travel to MUN conferences across the country this year, and to staff the conference that we host: UCBMUN! Having staffed BearMUN and UCBMUN XXIX last year, I can’t wait to see what the year ahead holds, both for our conferences and for the club in general!

Audrey Watson
UCBMUN Secretary-General
Audrey (she/her/hers) is a third-year student at Cal studying Neuroscience. Audrey is from Santa Cruz, California, and participated in MUN for 3 years in high school, where she grew her love for political debate and pretending to solve world issues on the weekend. Audrey joined UCBMUN in her freshman year after looking for an outlet for her love of debate, and she has loved learning about college MUN through her time staffing UCBMUN as an ACD and a USG of Crisis in the past two UCBMUNs. In her free time, you will probably find Audrey behind her camera taking photos for her portfolio, obsessively watching college women's basketball to prepare for March, or curled up with a blanket and a good book. This year she is excited to travel the country and compete in her favorite cities as well as serve as the Secretary-General of UCBMUN XXX.

Cheyenne Jemison
UCBMUN Director-General
Hello everyone! I’m a junior studying Political Science and History, and I currently serve as the Director General of our conference, UCBMUN. I’m still a bit new to the MUN world, but it has already become such an important part of my college experience. My interests include blind box collecting, cafe hopping reading, and doomscrolling on reels. After college, I plan to study international law. I’ve only traveled twice so far, but I’m excited to attend more East Coast conferences in the future. I’ve had the chance to staff both our high school conference, BearMUN, where I am now chairing a committee about my favorite artist and our collegiate conference.
